Bend's Winter Temperatures Can Be a Crisis for Some

As most of you may know, Bend's Community Center feeds and clothes an average of 200 homeless people every Sunday. They also work with other agencies doing outreach to the homeless. Please help us help them during this cold weather.

Every day homeless folks are walking into BCC asking for help, especially for sleeping bags and tents. There are hundreds of these folks sleeping out doors every night with only the barest of protection.

Please pass this email on to anyone you think might be interested in helping to keep these folks warm and healthy during our winter months. Bend¹s Community Center accepts donations Tues. - Sat., 9-5pm. After hour donations may be scheduled by calling Taffy at 312-2069.
