     residential streets; destroys use of front yard due to noise and dust – Y

 1 - Contacted Bend Police about contractors leaving road hazards and they acted like I was an

      annoying call.  No action taken.

 1 - Contacted Heidi Kennedy, Assoc. Planner and Deborah McMahon, Development Services   

      Director re a PUD on Neff Road; also concerns about density/traffic increases on Neff,

      Larkspur walking trail and crime.  Response received 1 year later! to no effect on developer  

      or development.

1 – There is no safe pedestrian crossing on 27th between MVHS and Neff; contacted ODOT – Y

3. If you could fix one traffic/transportation problem that bothers you, what would it be?    

           

1 - widen 27th street

1 - street resurfacing – sidewalk repair/replacement

1 – A safe crossing on 27th; I live east of 27th and would like to walk to work at Deschutes County Health Dept.; during rush hour, it is too dangerous to cross 27th.  I can’t walk to work!

1 – Improve Eagle Road which is being used as a collector; it’s condition is extremely poor and unsafe.

1 – Start transit on 27th & Butler Mkt. to rest of town.

1 – Build a nice trail to downtown along canal from Pine Nursery.

6. The City previously proposed a major freeway-style interchange at Hwy 97 and Cooley Road, with the primary purpose being to provide the main access route to the future Juniper Ridge Industrial Park development (via Cooley Road).  An alternative main access point further north off of Hwy 97 is now being considered.  Are you in favor of a northern interchange for this purpose?
