This space will be filled with transportation related topics for the Larkspur commmunity. We will try to post public meetings, upcoming road closures (that we are informed of), and other related items.
Recent Activity in the LNA
- Completion of the Bear Creek and 15th Street roundabout.
- The City of Bend recently modified the north and south lanes near Pettigrew and Hwy 20 in May 2006 to accomodate better traffic flow by removing parking along this stretch of road and continuation of the bike lanes to Bear Creek.
- The City of Bends Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) lists a number of projects that are identified for funding beginning in 2004-05 and extending for several years. Transportation improvements scheduled to receive funding for the next five years include the Reed Market Corrdor development.
Reed Market Corridor
The Reed Market Corridor project will be a complex, multi-year
project and.includes several distinct projects or sections.
These projects include:
- A bridge crossing over the railroad;
- A new canal crossing at American Lane;
- Parkway signal to 3rd Street;
- 3rd Street to American Lane;
- 15th Street to 27th Street;
- The Pettigrew intersection; and
- The 9th Street intersection.
