Volunteers needed for the fall festival booth duty Oct 6&7.
BendFort Rock Ranger District moving from 3rd St. to Bend Pine Nursery in Spring 2010
Free NA booths at the Sunday free concerts at the Les Schwab Amphitheater don’t know if they will continue.
Insurance- more information at the Boards & Chairs meeting on September 20, 2007
Festivals- NA’s hoping not to have to pay for booth space but 7 of 13 voted yes to go ahead with the space even with a cost.
Mike Schimt- Chamber thinks our membership has been paid & who paid we don’t know. Only 5 NA’s had a rack at the Chamber and we are one of them.
Need to go through Eloisa for staffers at the General Meetings. Wendy will be at the Fall general meeting to discuss the storm water fee and questions
New member concerned about break in while home.
Renaissance development; nothing new
DRW NA meets quarterly at Morning Star school.
Robert had a map of the Brookswood Plaza we viewed.
Americorps program; geared towards youths in trouble with law ages 17-27 brochures will be at the GM for more information contact handyl@outlawnet.com or Laura @ 541-419-8500
Half sheets will be mailed to neighbors instead off full sheets for announcing the GM as in the past due to cost, information to be included; map to school, directions, date & time, topics, link to web, Ad for membership chair.
Announce at the GM the contest for lighting and landscaping. 4 winners each time, have link on web so neighbors may nominate homes, winners will receive a gift certificate and certificate acknowledging them (Mike in charge of getting both certificates). The winners will be announced on the web in approx 1 wk prior to Christmas and 1st of Aug.; More information at the GM.
